English — 1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to MediLens ("the App," "we," or "us"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.

English — 2. Service Description & AI Disclaimer

MediLens is a health data management tool utilizing AI and OCR technologies.

CRITICAL AI DISCLAIMER: You expressly acknowledge that AI and OCR technologies are not error-free and may produce "hallucinations" (generating false or non-existent data). You have the absolute responsibility to manually verify all App-generated data against your original paper reports. We are not responsible for errors caused by AI misinterpretation.

English — 3. Medical Device Disclaimer

MediLens is NOT a medical device. It is designed solely as a lifestyle and health tracking tool and is not intended to monitor vital signs, diagnose diseases, or cure any medical conditions. All content is for informational purposes only. Users must always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

中文 — 3. 非醫療器械宣告

MediLens 不是醫療器械。 本應用僅作為一款生活方式與健康記錄工具設計，不具備監測生命體徵、診斷疾病或治療任何醫療狀況的功能。所有內容僅供資訊參考。使用者在做出醫療決策時，應始終諮詢具有執業資格的醫療專業人士。

English — 4. Eligibility

You represent and warrant that you meet the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction, have full legal capacity, and own or are authorized to upload the content you provide.

您確認並保證：您已達到所在司法轄區法律規定的最低使用年齡；具有完全民事行為能力；且對上傳的內容擁有合法權利或已獲得充分授權。

English — 5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to upload false, misleading, or unlawful content; not to use the App for illegal purposes; and not to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the App. You are solely responsible for all consequences arising from your use of the App.

您同意：不上傳任何虛假、誤導性或非法內容；不利用本應用從事違法行為；不嘗試破壞或逆向工程本應用。您應自行對因使用本應用而產生的任何後果承擔責任。

English — 6. Data Ownership & License

You retain ownership of all medical images you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and analyze such data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We commit NOT to use your personal health data to train public general AI models without your explicit consent.

中文 — 6. 資料歸屬與許可

使用者上傳的醫療圖片及其原始所有權歸使用者本人所有。您授予我們一項有限的、非獨佔的、全球性的許可，允許我們儲存、處理和分析相關資料，僅用於向您提供服務。我們承諾，未經您明確同意，不會將您的個人健康資料用於訓練通用的公共 AI 模型。

English — 7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding accuracy or availability. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

在法律允許的最大範圍內，本應用按“現狀”提供。我們不保證服務的準確性或可用性。在任何情況下，我們的累計責任不超過您在最近十二（12）個月內為使用本應用而實際支付的費用（如有）。
